ANAMA LAB is a space for research, creation and artistic experimentation that explores the musical experience in dialogue with different fields of knowledge and human expression, drawing on Latin American perspectives.
Its activities emerge from the works, performances and creative processes of ANAMA Ensemble, establishing connections with history, philosophy, literature, cinema, dance and the visual arts. Through this encounter between different artistic languages and ways of thinking, the laboratory expands the possibilities for exploring, interpreting and perceiving artistic works.
Structured around three complementary dimensions — intellectual, perceptual and experiential — ANAMA LAB offers discussions, analytical sessions, open rehearsals, practical workshops, masterclasses and interdisciplinary experiences. These activities seek to deepen listening, share interpretative processes and bring audiences closer to the questions and artistic choices that shape creative practice.
Beyond presenting finished results, the laboratory seeks to build a community of reflection and experimentation in which artists, researchers and audiences share experiences and develop new ways of thinking about, perceiving and experiencing art through a Latin American lens.
